We're looking for a talented Senior Production Engineer to work for our client in Aylesbury
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of working in manufacturing setting.

The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering director and based in the company's Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, as the Senior Production Engineer you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and developing the production processes procedure and monitor all production activities.
In the job you'll be tasked to:
Participate in the Quality and Purchasing functions
Participate in the Design/Engineering functions
Participate in the Production Control function
Conduct time and motion assessment
Investigate and evaluate new plant and equipment
Determine layout and flow of the production plant and equipment to provide the most efficient and effective production line(s)
Be involved in the establishment, implementation and monitoring of the health and safety practices in the production areas in line with company policy and with the Compliance Officer's support
Arrange / conduct specific training programmes for all production personnel as appropriate
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Production Engineer role will have experience of using Lean SIx Sigma Green belt or above.
You'll also need to have:
Flexibility to work across both sites ( Aylesbury and Birmingham)
5 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in low volumes/ batch industrial manufacturing
Knowledge of a range of engineering functions and procedures
An awareness of health and safety issues within a manufacturing environment
Commercial awareness
A hands on' approach
You'll also need to be able to work on tight deadlines and able to demonstrate excellent time management skills.

The Package:
Basic salary: £42,980- £45,685/yr
Benefits: Company's pension and other benefits
You will be expected to work 39 hours per week, Monday Thursday 8.30 am 5 pm, Friday 8.30 am 4pm, and on-site for the majority of your time
