I am currently recruiting for Harding-working Machine Technicians to join a company who is a world leader in packaging solutions. This role is a full-time permanent positions based Aylesbury.
The successful candidate will report into the Shift Supervisor. You will endure that the Blow Moulding machines run to the agreed specification and efficiency, and the Automated Warehouse operates to meet the demands of the In House Customer. You will also comply with Health & Safety legislation and Company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure that the blow moulding machines and ancillary equipment are in good running order. To report any defects to the supervisor and carry out any remedial work as instructed by supervision, which is within the operator's level of competence, so as to minimise loss of production and maximise machine efficiency.
To carry out routine checks in accordance with the CAQ system and report to the Supervisor any deviation from specification
To carry out running adjustments in order to maintain bottle quality and machine efficiency, and also in response to PFN's
To carry out scheduled tasks, for example head tool cleaning, in accordance with the schedules and procedures
To monitor material mix and supply, and make any adjustments within the level of competence of the operator which are necessary due to any material changes. Also report any material supply or conveying issues to the Supervisor
To operate Tray loaders in order to supply containers to filling hall, or to and from the Automated Warehouse
To deal with common supply problems in order to minimize supply lost time
To monitor supply performance via Idhammar, Autefa and Isoma systems
To ensure empty stacks are available when blow moulder is manufacturing for stock, reporting any issues to the Supervisor
To ensure that the tray loaders, supply conveyors, ancillary equipment and the immediate work area are maintained to a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness at all times.

To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety, quality, hygiene and food safety policies.
To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may from time to time be reasonably required by Supervisor or Production Manager and which are consistent with the "Main purpose of the Job", i.e. absence cover for other operator or other key staff within the operator level of competence.The working hours for this role is 6am-6pm (days) and 6pm-6am (nights) on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern.
The Salary for this position is £23,500 – £32,000
