A specialist engineering business that supplies plastic components to a variety of industries is now looking to recruit a Setter Supervisor to run their modern, busy mould shop near Aylesbury. They offer a range of services from concept design to prototypes, small batch and high volume production, giving them the ability to diversify during the current pandemic.

This diversity has created an increase in their rate of growth over the last 12 months, making this position imperative to their ability to continue to provide the high quality and service levels their customers have come to expect.

As Setter Supervisor your duties will include –

Running the shift, ensuring all job orders are completed in a safe and efficient manner
Supervising a small term of operators
Tool changing and condition setting
Trouble shooting and resolving process/production issues
Identifying and carrying out process improvements

To be successful in the role of Setter Supervisor the ideal Candidate will –

Have experience of working in a plastic injection moulding environment
Be able to confidently condition set, trouble shoot, and optimise
Have worked with a range of materials
Have previously held the same job title, or similar such as Tool Setter, Process Technician or Mould Technician.Based near Aylesbury, this role is commutable from Oxford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Banbury, Hemel Hempstead, and High Wycombe.
