Despatch Team Leader

As a Despatch Team Leader at our flagship Dairy, you’ll make sure that the nation get Cravendale milk in their tea each morning, Skyr yoghurt in their breakfast bowl, and Anchor butter on their toast.

This is your chance be a key player at a plant that covers 76 acres and that is 100% carbon neutral. Being led by an award winning Site Director, this site doesn’t stand still. And neither will your career. We are looking for an ambitious individual who could see themselves eventually joining the site Leadership Team.

So what will you actually do?

As Despatch Team Leader, you’ll support your team on shift and help them to meet their KPI’s. Collaborating with Production, Logistics, and Scheduling, you’ll help to ensure that the site meet their target of 7 trailers loaded per hour.

This is a fast- paced operation, where ambition is championed. You’ll think strategically, generating long- term solutions and continuously improving the operation. First and foremost though, you will be a people manager. You’ll engage, develop and coach your team, creating a true talent pipeline within the function. In turn, your manager will develop you.

* Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

* Resilience and the ability to find solutions under pressure
