CNC Turner required to join a well-established Manufacturer of precision machined components for a range of different industries, based in the Aylesbury area.
A successful candidate would have the opportunity to work for a fast-growing company, in a modern workshop environment and would need to be able to work effectively as a team member and have strong problem-solving skills.
CNC Tuner – Setter / Operator Position Overview
Programming, setting and operating sliding head and fixed head CNC lathes.
Completing small to large batch work plus prototypes.
Work collaboratively as a team to improve existing processes and quality control.
Working with a variety of materials from plastics, aluminium and stainless steels.
Maintain production records to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and company procedure.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative.
CNC Tuner – Setter / Operator Position Requirements
Experience with Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls – On both fixed head & sliding head lathes.
Citizen sliding head programming experience would be a significant benefit
Understanding of engineering drawings and working with tight tolerances.
Previous experience working with plastics would be an advantage.
Strong communication and time management skills.
CAD/CAM capabilities are desirable.
ISO (Apply online only) experience would be beneficial.
CNC Tuner – Setter / Operator Position Remuneration
40 Hours per week
08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday
Salary: £14 – £17 per hour (DEO)
Overtime available
23 days holidays per year + BH
