A large manufacturing business with a great company culture. Based just outside of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. They are looking to take on multiple new Assembly Technicians.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Assembly Technician are:
– Manufacturing the products, pump stations, separators and any new products or variations which may be introduced
– Assembly of the full range of products which could include one or all of the following duties: working to drawings, component
– Work to the highest possible standards regarding health & safety, quality, attendance whilst maintaining a high level of efficiency
-Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy

Profile

Absolutely necessary for an Assembly Technician:

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent

Previous experience working in a factory environment

Experience in using hand tools

The ability to understand written instructions

The ability to accurately record information on written documents

A good attitude to work which encompasses health & safety, quality and output efficiency

Desirable for an Assembly Technician

Qualifications relevant to manufacturing operations

Previous forklift training

Experience working with fibreglass

Manufacturing experience

The ability to read drawings
