We are currently recruiting for HS2 Principal Planner to support a growing business!

Job Role:
•Deal with planning and environmental issues
•Responsible for a full range of development management matters on HS2
•Attending meetings about HS2 casework with the community
•Working collaboratively with the planning team
•Processing HS2 applications and pre-application submissions
•Provide key input into processes that will range from the design of infrastructure to liaising community and council members
•Supervising and managing the determination of Schedule 17 submissions

Essential Skills:
•Extensive knowledge of planning legislation and national policies
•Confident leader
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Strong political awareness
•Be able to work under pressure

Flexibility is required for shift times
