Technical Infrastructure Engineer – Azure – Aylesbury – £32,000 plus great Benefits

A large software business based just outside Aylesbury are now hiring for an IT Systems Engineer to join their team. The IT Systems Engineer will need to provide internal and project support, as well as being involved in Infrastructure projects. Cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing and operations teams and keep existing networks in mind as they design, plan and test. Ensure that ISO, security and best practice processes are maintained.

Key Tasks & Skills

Qualification or equivalent experience in networking.
Experience of using Active Directory and Group Policy.
Good O365 administration including Exchange and SharePoint online.
Ability to or learn to write script for automation – i.e., Python/PowerShell.
SQL Server administration experience (ability to maintain and set up
Manage releases, and ensure that all applications are up to date
Manage and maintain security of the underlying application
Maintaining all certificatesResponsibilities:

Monitor solutions via regular creation and scrutiny of reports, identify potential problems and performance trends.
Create, update, and manage assigned JIRA tickets whilst keeping key people up to date with results and key milestones.
Maintain solution documentation.
