Software Pre-sales Manager – Aylesbury
Salary: £50K basic with an OTE of up to £70K (depending on experience)

Our client is a privately-owned and funded software development house, established in 1994, which develops and supplies their flagship contact centre platform Softdial Contact Centre™ (SCC) via a network of partners, who work with their product in a variety of ways. SCC is currently powering communications in over 50 countries.
Our client does not rely on venture capital. Because they are free from meeting the quarterly requirements of investors, our client has scope to take on, and meet, the big challenges of a rapidly changing industry
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for our client to recruit Software Pre-sales Manager.
The key focus is on delivering our clients CCaaS product in a cloud environment, both private and public.
This market is experiencing exponential growth and the opportunities for career development are excellent.
Working with customers and prospects to help them understand how Softdial Contact Centre (SCC), our clients CCaaS product, delivers value for their business.
Managing deployment and service delivery for SCC for a number of blue-chip customers
Ensuring that realistic plans are in place that meet both customer needs and also our clients ability to deliver.
Coordinating all technical resources required from our client.
Working closely with sales personnel to ensure that customer expectations and timescales are met
The job will have a particular focus on supporting our clients many customers in market research around the world and experience in this vertical will be desirable but not mandatory
Ability to travel internationally at short notice.
Qualities Required
Ability to establish relationships at all levels of management, internal and with customers
An understanding of risk and how to plan so that expectations on all sides are met
Ability to put reporting procedures in place so that progress can be easily and efficiently monitored
Ability to manage customer acceptance procedures and secure sign-off.
General Skills and Experience Required
Demonstrable success in previous work, academic and/or business
Ability to work on own initiative as well as a member of a team
Excellent inter-personal, written, verbal and presentation skills
Handling responses to RFPs and statements of work.
Desirable Technical Skills
Experience of resource planning and project management in the call centre, CRM or telecommunications industry
Background in systems integration and/or software development
Working knowledge of key contact centre technologies including Web RTC; database, web technologies, virtualisation and networking skills
Experience in working with Internet Service Providers and Carriers to provide quality SIP interconnects
Ability to learn and demonstrate key features of SCC; for example hosting capability or PCI compliance
Ability to scope technical requirements and get our client sign-off for software, hardware and networking.
The Package
Salary package is up to £50K basic with an OTE of up to £70K depending on experience
