Our client in Aylesbury is seeking a Thermal Insulation Technician to join them on a Temp – Perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading engineering firm in the Motorsport, Automotive and Aerospace sector, our client is seeking an individual with an interest in developing skills in production and engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing and ability to read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.

Full training will be provided and the role includes preparing materials for the team, including cutting by hand or with a machine, forming materials using appropriate workshop machinery such as fly press, rollers, hydraulic press, air tools and hand tools, spot welders.

Working with thin gauge metallic sheets you will be working to tight tolerances, encapsulating products and carrying out spot welding work.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Good attention to detail

* Creative and practical minded

* Good hand/eye co-ordination, think in 3D

* Ability to show initiative

* Deadline conscious

* Reliable and able to demonstrate a stable work history

Hours of work are 7:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday

£9.00+ per hour to start. once permanent, 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays. Opportunities to earn paid overtime. Pension scheme.
