EMC Engineer/ Test & Validation Engineer

Contract immediate start available

Opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in a key EMC Test / Test & Validation role on a contract basis.

With a background in EMC Test you will utilise you expertise and technical acumen around military and aerospace test specifications to support a key project.

Supporting the project teams with all EMC qualification and test activities you will deliver testing, results and subsequent reports as well as verify and validate test methods against customer specifications.

You will also play a key role in supporting the Test Manager to maintain the EMC laboratory's ISO 17025 accreditation as well as write and review EMC test plans and reports for both development & qualification.

To succeed in this interesting key role you will be an experienced test & Validation / EMC Engineer with a detailed understanding of EMC specification and standards with:

Experience in configuring EMC measurement and control software
A working knowledge of RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810 and related environmental test standards
The ability to write and review development & qualification EMC test plans & reports
Any experience of data acquisition systems (such as DEWESoft) desirable but not essential
