The Company;
Our client is an award winning packaging company that have been producing high quality control packaging systems for over 20 years, who due to rapid growth are now seeking to appoint a Quality Engineer
The role;
As an Quality Engineer you will mainly be responsible for material evaluation and reporting through mechanical and thermal testing leading to product and process improvements
Main responsibilities;
* Generation of equivalency reports and engineering memos
* Support R&D activities and supply chain development
* Ensuring the technical department is audit ready in line with internal and ISO quality systems
* Lead and oversee technical change activities
* Process awareness and improvement
* Ensure adherence to all procedures and processes set up within the quality system.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality systems in use within the company
* Contribute to the development of the laboratory capabilities.
About you;
If you are an experienced Quality Control Technician/Engineer and have experience in a similar role within a production facility you should have the following requirements;
Required;
* Technical Qualification
* Graduate Engineering/Science
* 5 years plus industry experience
* Proficient with MS office – Word
Excel, PowerPoint
* Report presentations
* CAD knowledge
* Technical Changes Process
* Sample Making
* Technical authoring
* Design Process
* Product testing
