The Production Operative vacancy is working with a leading manufacturer of building and construction products. Within the position you will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery within a manufacturing environment, full training is provided. Based in the Leighton Buzzard area, the position is initially offered upon a long-term temporary basis, but offers opportunities of permanent employment and excellent benefits, within a friendly working environment.

What's in it for you:

Salaries available start from £26,000 to £29,600 subject to hours worked, including shift premium. Once fully trained your salary can increase to between £28,100 to £30,000 per annum, including shift premium
Overtime is also available at a premium x 1.5 x 2 etc
Dupont shift covering a 24/7 shift pattern of days and nights, 12-hour shifts

Location: Leighton BuzzardKey responsibilities will lie in the following functional areas:

The production of high-quality products operating production machinery
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
Operations of a range of machines as part of a multi-skilled team
Ensure areas are inspected / maintained in accordance with local Health & Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment operating machinery is highly desirable
