Health and Safety Advisor – Required for our client in Aylesbury as part of a Joint Venture on a geotechnical engineering project for HS2. Our client are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor with experience in the Piling or Ground Engineering Sector to grow the team.

Health and Safety Advisor Position Overview

Assist branches in the identification of cost of poor safety and health management.
Deliver Health and Safety related training.
Liaise with customers and sub-contractors on HSEQ matters as requested by HSEQ Manager
Assist in the development of the Integrated Management Systems
Undertake site inspections and internal audits across the UK
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety regulatory, contractual and company requirements
Provide tender and project management Health and Safety support
Prevention of accidents, damage to plant and equipment, fire, the environment and quality control
Identify activities required specialist risk assessment

Health and Safety Advisor Position Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
Technician Member of IOSH
Auditor qualification in ISO 45001 and ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Certification
Demonstrable Health and Safety experience in construction or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems
Railway Health and Safety experience
Must be willing to travel and hold a full diving licence

Health and Safety Advisor Position Remuneration

Salary up to £40K
26 Days holiday + BH
37 hours per week and overtime paid
