An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Geo Environmental Consultant to join a small yet dynamic, well-established Consultancy in Herefordshire. Joining a close-knit team, the successful applicant will provide first class technical expertise for a wide-ranging client base across South East England.

This position will provide an experienced consultant the opportunity to progress their career and work with clients from project inception to completion.

Candidate requirements include:

An excellent academic background, with a BSc in a relevant discipline such as Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science. (An MSc would be advantageous)
A UK driving license
Demonstrable experience working as a Geo environmental Consultant
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A 'can do' attitude and the ability to work on initiativeKey responsibilities:

Phase 1 desk study and conceptual site model preparation
Conducting ground investigations and contaminated land risk assessments for human health and groundwater
Remediation option appraisals and verification
Monitoring and sampling for gas and groundwater
Technical reporting
Client liaison and project managementThis position offers a competitive salary, use of a company vehicle along with other benefits such as pension, mobile phone, laptop, annual leave. Reporting to Senior members of the team, the successful applicant will split time between site, home working and office based activities.
