My client are a family run gas contractor that have several long standing clients and look after a total of 40,000 Social housing dwellings throughout the home counties.

Due to recent contract awards they are looking to add to their team and employ an additional Gas Supervisor.

Ensuring staff are aware of the relevant strategies and policies and are implementing the associated procedures.

Monitoring and addressing issues relating to the quality of works delivered and the Team skills to deliver the services.

Ensuring that the Line Manager is appropriately informed and advised of the activities of your Team.

Managing sickness and absence of your workforce.

Carry out post inspections and onsite visits to make sure all works carried out comply with GSIUR 1998, water regulations, building regulations and Policies and procedures within the business.

Q.C on all gas certificates and worksheets handed in from workforce and external contractors.

Carry out regular toolbox talks to update workforce on any changes within the gas industry and policies

Keep up to date with tools/equipment supplied by the company making sure all equipment is in good working order, re calibrated and PAT tested when required.

Managing health and safety of the department, making sure all aspects and employees are aware and comply with health and safety regulations.

Attending and dealing with escalation problem jobs to guide engineers and complete if required
