Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Starting salary of £10.50 per hour but lots of incentives and Overtime and progression to earn more

Day Shift available: 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday

Late Shift Available: 13:30 – 23:30 Monday – Thursday there is a shift allowance of 10%

Overtime is available and paid at 1.3 during the week and 1.5 on a Saturday and Double time on a Sunday

There is also the opportunity to earn up to around £400 bonus per year depending on performance

CAREER OPPORTUNITY – Factory Operative / Assembly Operative

Job Description

A full time role either day shift or late shift based at our factory in Aston Clinton involving manufacturing equipment for water treatment and storage has become available. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping develop the business, ensuring products are produced in a timely and cost-effective way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacture a range of water treatment solutions to the standards defined within the specification and the company quality system
Assembly of the full range of Water products, which could include one or all the following duties: reading of drawings, component assembly to finished goods, cutting, drilling, sanding, GRP laminating, sub assembly of steel fabrications, rotors, separator valves etc.
Maintenance of equipment and Housekeeping to the highest standards

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
Practical knowledge of assembly techniques
Ability to understand and act on verbal or written instructions
Ability to measure and document production activities
A mature attitude to work which encompasses health and safety, quality and care as well as output

Desirable

Qualifications relevant to manufacturing operations
Previous Forklift Training
Experience in working with fibreglass
