We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer who will provide a creative electrical design solutions to a range of ground breaking projects and hands on electrical build and test.

Main Tasks
Electrical design
Provision of technical guidance
Service support including the possibility of overseas travel
Commissioning, on-site installation and customer acceptance
Research and development of new electrical systems and projects
Recommendation/procurement of electrical parts.
Creation of design documentation
Liaising with other departments/sub-contractors to co-ordinate on projects

Requirements
HND / degree in electrical/electronic engineering
Experience of electrical systems design, commissioning and support preferably in a machine building environment
A good knowledge of panel build and machine wiring
Knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to electrical control systems
AutoCAD experience.
Good numeracy and computer skills
An understanding of manufacturing processes
Excellent time management skills
Attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy/quality
The ability to work and collaborate as part of a team.
Willing and able to travel to customer sites both nationally and internationally
