We’re looking for an EC&I Technician!

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician based at their plant in Buckinghamshire. The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will provide planned, predictive, preventative and reaction electrical and instrumentation maintenance support on an upper-tier COMAH environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Being compliant with all Health and Safety policies and procedures

* Provide site EC&I maintenance support on a shift basis

* Safe isolations of electrical and instrumentation equipment

* Overhaul & test of all site EC&I equipment

* Inspection test and service of all site electrical equipment

* Fixed wiring inspection and defect repair of all site electrical equipment

* Fault diagnosis and resolution of EC&I problems across site

* Calibration of site instrumentation equipment

* Installation & commissioning of minor EC&I projects

* To be involved with health and safety audits and improvements

* Involvement in continuous improvement activities

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential:
– Time served Electrical / Instrumentation
– E&I qualification ONC/HNC/ NVQ 3
– BS7671
– DSEAR / ATEX knowledge
– Functional safety knowledge
– Computer literate

Desirable:
– COMPEX EX01-EX04 Qualification
– Inspection & Testing 2391
– CMMS experience
