Job Description – Dispatch Assistant
Basic Salary – £30,000 – £35,000
Location – Aylesbury
Shifts – Monday to Friday

My Client is seeking a highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude, who will perform as a good all-rounder within our Dispatch team.  They will need to be able to load and unload vehicles with Plant and machinery and provide the administration related to dispatch/goods-in, including adding and updating information on our Information systems.  
 
Key responsibilities:

Managing and assisting in the loading/unloading of vehicles and tie-down of equipment including handballing equipment at times
Goods-in & dispatch of hire Plant
Low level office administration
Flexibility to work overtime where necessary (delivery times can vary at short notice)
To maintain and improve health & safety in the workplace / All other workshop duties as deemed necessaryExperience, Knowledge & Skills:
Essential

Can-do attitude
Experience of Loading & Unloading vehicles of Plant machinery
Driving licence
Fork Lift Truck Licence
Willingness to work overtime when required (for late running deliveries/collections)
Resourcefulness, with a high attention to detail
Manual Handling experience
