Title: CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer
Reporting to: Toolroom Manager
Renumeration: Subject to experience
Holiday benefits: 21 days (starting) + bank holidays

Working hours: Mon-Thu (8am – 5:30pm), Fri (8am – 4:30pm)
Manufacturing precision components for Injection and Blow mould tool production.
Ideal candidate would be able to program Online (CAM) aswell as Offline when needed
You'll liaise continually with our Toolroom manager
You'll be encouraged to contribute to existing process improvements, whilst proposing the creation of new processes.
When necessary, you will also contribute to the design and manufacture of bespoke jigs and fixtures to support a particular project.
As a valued member of our team, you will guide and mentor apprentices and junior members of staff in order for them to learn key skills such as assembly techniques of mould tooling.
You'll demonstrate first hand the importance of high standards and encourage others to shine.
Technical Skills Required
The ability to understand engineering drawings and CAD data.
Have previous experience with Hurco control systems & on-control programming.
Are proficient with CAD/CAM programming software. Ideally Powershape, Powermill or VISI.
Be a multitasker; for example you must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate more than one machine at a time.
Manual milling and turning.

Qualifications & Required Skills
The ideal candidate would have ideally served an appropriate engineering apprenticeship with a recognised engineering qualification gained.
Additional Desired Experience
CNC Turning (Haas) and programming.
Experience in mould polishing, assembly and repair would be an advantage.
An awareness of EDM processes.
CMM/Inspection department processes.
Additional Requirements
Full, current driving license.
