Our bespoke market leading client in Aylesbury are seeking a skilled CNC Miller / Programmer, to join their growing team.
The successful CNC Miller must have previous experience programming with Fanuc controls. The normal hours of work will be 37½ per week on their early shift, which is Monday– Friday 6am – 2pm.
The Successful CNC Miller will be working within a technical manufacturing environment, working as part of a team and have the following attributes:
* A strong work ethic, positive attitude with good attention to detail.

* Solve problems,
* Work well under pressure,
* Must be able to work under your own initiative and also as part of a team.
The CNC Miller that is appointed will have the following responsibilities:
* To programme and operate the CNC Milling machine (with Fanuc controls)
* To programme off-line and create and store programmes according to drawing requirements.
* To work in line with the tolerances and dimensions stated on our drawings; and to always maintain a high standard of workmanship.
* To comply with all ISO 9001 quality requirements, as dictated by procedures and working practices.
* To ensure all documents are followed and maintained according to defined requirements.
* To maximise the output of the machine at all times to ensure that efficiencies are adhered to or improved.
* To participate in the quality control process relevant to the work carried out and ensure all defective work is immediately brought to the attention of the Production Supervisor
* To ensure that all relevant Health & Safety practices are maintained and to promote safe working at all times.
* To keep the working area clean and tidy at all times.
* To keep all machinery in a safe working condition – reporting any issues and arranging any service and repair.
