Business Improvement Manager
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Location: Aylesbury, HP19 8BP
This is an opportunity for a dynamic and versatile manager to join our Leadership Team that shapes and delivers our highway services in Buckinghamshire. Reporting into the Network Strategy manager, you would be responsible for managing the contract wide support teams such as Quality & Performance, Business Planning, and Customer Experience. This role is principally responsible for the continuous improvement of the contract such as improving access, quality and efficiency of management information to all staff and embedding a culture of ownership with business owners. The successful candidate will have previous performance related improvement skills, the ability to manage however we are flexible on industry experience.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a performance driven role
Track record of managing projects successfully, on time and within budget
Experience with working in a politically led environment would be advantageous
Understanding of budgets/KPI's and experience of budgetary governance, management and control measures
Strong inter-personal, self-management and team management skills
Proven influencing, problem solving, relationship building and networking skills
Ability to present complex information in an easily understandable formatYou would be responsible for:
Leading on the identification and delivery of projects on the Contract Improvement Plan
Developing, implementing & monitoring processes that achieve client and business objectives
Understanding business needs, identifying improvements and facilitating process changes as appropriate
Ensuring KPI's are captured and reported both internally and externally as required
Auditing KPI data and developing improvement plans where required
Producing high quality reports that are suitable for various audiences including Clients and Shareholders
Communicating with a variety of audiences by leading workshops, giving presentations, writing reports etc
Managing, coaching & developing the contract support teams
