Assistant Project Manager
I'm currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager with a leading UK heat exchanger manufacturer based in Aylesbury.
This position is on a permanent basis, working as part of a team with a direct reporting line to the Project Manager.
Experience:
● Working knowledge of the manufacturing/fabrication industry.
● Minimum of an HNC/HND in relevant Engineering subjects.
● Commercially focused, with an eye for details on the project costs across multiple projects.
● Strong analytical skills – to develop, analyse and provide commentary on project plans and
performance.
● High integrity – to build trust with all stakeholders.
● Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of ERP systems would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
● Manage all projects to maximise value, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and client satisfaction.
● Work across the full value chain, from our clients to our suppliers to understand their working
methods and requirements.
● Manage interactions such as drawing approvals, changes to the timetable/technical specification identified should be reported to key staff to address technical and commercial aspects promptly.
