Technical Compliance Engineer – My client is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer to fulfil an exciting and varied role in a soft engineering environment. This role is not a standalone engineering role, you will be involved in the whole business process requiring administration skills and commercial business awareness in addition to your technical expertise.

As Technical Compliance Engineer your role will include working closely with project managers in the preparation and submission of Type Approval documentation to ensure deadlines are met; reviewing technical schematics, testing product samples, providing technical support internally and to overseas clients and test laboratories, supporting internal research projects on new tech and technical developments within the industry.

To be a successful Technical Compliance Engineer, you will ideally be educated to degree level with a focus on the physical sciences, engineering or similar plus at least 2 years’ relevant industry experience. You must be flexible and proactive, able to prioritise workload and work under pressure; familiarity with modern radio data-communication technologies or willing to learn; willing to travel internationally. If you have experience in a laboratory environment, an interest in troubleshooting computers or a second language that would be a distinct advantage.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm, with an earlier finish on Fridays, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. Salary will be dependent on skills and experience
