Based at our UK site in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire where the company manufactures input systems, we are exclusively recruiting for a:
Purchasing Coordinator
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Part-Time – 27 hours per week (Negotiable)
About the role:
The successful applicant will be the main purchasing contact at the company, reporting to the Head of Production, whilst working closely with Internal Sales, Planning, Production and the Warehouse teams. As the company works towards ISO13485 certification in 2022, the right person will assist introducing additional policies and procedures to improve the supplier management element of the accreditation.
* Supplier price and contract negotiation.
* Sourcing new suppliers.
* Supplier quality and delivery.
* Arranging supplier audits.
* Purchase order input and processing.
* Supporting Internal/External Sales for existing/new business.
* Overall responsible for stock control.
What we require:
* Prior experience in a similar manufacturing role essential.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Possess excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Logical thought process with attention to detail.
* Good work ethic and have a strong use of own initiative.
* Be a strong team player.
* Full training for the role and systems will be provided.
