A-Rec Education are working with a 1 form entry Combined Primary School in a village on the outskirts of Aylesbury who require a full time Teaching Assistant.

The Teaching Assistant role will ideally start after February half term for the duration of the Spring Term. There could be scope for the Teaching Assistant opportunity to continue for Summer Term too. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working within Key Stage 2, mainly Year 5, however some time may also be spent in Year 3 as well offering general classroom support.

The school also require the Teaching Assistant to cover some lunch duties also. Working hours are 8:45 am – 3:15 pm.

The requirements:

As the successful Teaching Assistant you will need to;

* Have a Level 2/Level 3 NVQ or a minimum of 6 months experience in working within the classroom as a Teaching Assistant

* Be engaging and flexible if needed

* Able to deal with challenging behaviour

* Have a patient, creative approach

* Be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team
