Rated "Good" by Ofsted, this modern and dynamic school based in the heart of Aylesbury is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning support Assistant. Catering for children between the ages of 11- 16 with varying learning needs, we are looking for a candidate willing to work with us for a permanent contract from September. Your new school not only provides the mandatory core subjects, but also focuses on PSD (Personal and Social Development) of pupils. Enabling students to master basic skills and work towards a greater sense of independence. Cultural development is interwoven throughout the schools' curriculum and all pupils are encouraged to participate towards their learning. Our school's aim is to provide an inclusive, vibrant school where children can fulfil their potential, grow in confidence and above all, be happy. This is where you, their Learning support Assistant will be able to join the team to provide an energetic, passionate, and hands- on approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.

As a future employee at this secondary SLD school, your main duties would include providing 1 to 1 support to children when required and on occasion work with smaller groups. You would be expected to
Have experience working with SEND pupils.
Be enthusiastic about the educational needs of the pupils.
An understanding of the different learning needs such as PSD, SLD, ASD and complex needs.We are hopeful that you could join us this September ready for a new school term
