Their clients include many of the major energy supply companies, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and industry supply chain partners such as installers of renewable energy technologies.

Contracts and Commercial Manager (ECO – Energy Company Obligations)
In order to manage our ECO activity, the role of a Contracts and Commercial Manager has arisen. It will involve a varied and challenging workload, within a constantly evolving business environment. You will join an existing successful, high performing team and gain invaluable insight about the low carbon and energy sectors.
The role would suit an individual with previous experience within the energy or construction sector. You will need to demonstrate relevant commercial, contract and partner management skills, together with experience of working on technically complex projects and operations.
Business development: seeking out and developing new opportunities
Commercial Negotiations: leading contract negotiations with current and new supply chain partners
Supply Chain management: supporting our supply chain to enable further growth and optimising delivery.
Account management: focal point of contact for our network of 50+ contractors and funding partners
Contract management: planning, training, tracking progress against deliverables and reporting to senior management.
Reporting: building forecasting models, monitoring spend and producing management reports.
Other: any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time including supporting our ECO Compliance Team.
Health & Safety: all employees are responsible for their own health and safety and must adhere to the company's HSE guidelines.
In a nutshell this role has three main components
Updating with contractors (third party businesses. This includes monthly update on progress, contract status, forecasts and dealing with any account management matters. This could include issues or non compliance matters
Working with the Operations Director. Ensuring contractors are meeting obligations, ensuring quality and obligation matters are resolved.
Business Development. Assisting in generating new business from current accounts and bring on new contractors/accounts
Profile
Contracts and Commercial Manager (ECO – Energy Company Obligations)
Able to work independently and to tight deadlines in a challenging environment.
Able to identify new commercial opportunities through creative thinking and business acumen
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, highly organised
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, driven and proactive
Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
Strong analytic skills including advanced use of spreadsheets – VLookUps/Pivots level
Knowledge of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO)
Proven experience in managing internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
Contract and commercial management
Cost and forecasting analysisPlease note: You will ideally have good knowledge of ECO from a construction, energy or housing background. If this is not the case you will have worked within a Energy Regulatory role or from a construction company working in the Energy Retrofit space.
Job Offer
£45,000 t0 £55,000 dependant upon experience, plus excellent package
