We are working with a Combined Primary School, situated in Aylesbury who require an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in Year 3 supporting a child with ASD needs.

The successful applicant must have a caring nature and be able to provide support to the child who can sometimes feel overwhelmed.

The school have an extremely encouraging and supportive Senior Leadership Team. The role is full time and on a long term contract initially until Christmas, however could continue into the new year.

The requirements:

As the successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will need to;

– Have a Level 2/Level 3 NVQ or a minimum of 6 months experience in working within the classroom as a Teaching Assistant

– Experience working 1:1 with children at Primary level

– Experience in working with children with ASD needs

– Be engaging and flexible if needed

– Able to deal with challenging behaviour

– Have a patient, creative approach

– Be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team
