Warehouse Operative
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: DOE + various internal schemes
Company: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.
Role: The post holder will be responsible for assisting the organisation of production logistics and warehouse.
The goals include assisting the production manager with the entire production logistics to optimise our production efficiencies by ensuring that all required components are always in place for all jobs. Including all raw materials, consumables and waste streams. Unloading and loading lorries. Additionally, the warehouse must always be clean and organised with goods stored safely, accurately and in good order.
Responsibilities
· Take all raw materials and consumables to production as and when required
· Remove and refresh all waste streams as and when required
· Unload & load all inbound deliveries and outbound shipments on reach forklift truck
· Maintain working practices & processes
· Housekeeping warehouse
· Packing and pallet wrapping
Requirements
· Warehouse operative experience
· Forklift experience essential
· Previous experience of Reach Forklift truck is advantageous though not essential (on site safety course will be given)
· Proven working experience in a busy warehouse role
· Excellent organisational skills with a passion for high housekeeping standards
