The Company:
Our client is a well-established logistics company with international operations

Main duties:
To monitoring shipments from the beginning to end also delivering excellent customer service with timely and effective communication between customers, suppliers and colleagues.

The Role:
– To deal with customers and suppliers enquiries on the daily basis over the phone and by email
– To build relationships in a professional manner with suppliers and customers, and provide excellent level of customer service
– To resolve any possible issues in all areas of the job
– To monitor the progression of transports and follow through to completion ready for invoicing
– To ensure transports are running in scheduled time
– To check and control supplier invoices
– To put all data in management system accordingly
– To support the sales team with quotations and tender administration also identifying sales opportunities

The Candidate:
– Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
– Previous experience within Transport / Freight Forwarding is essential
– Strong knowledge of export shipping documentation and regulation (especially since Brexit) is desirable
– Highly organised and focused
– Attention to detail and accuracy
– Able to work on own initiative and part of a good team
– Fluency in French or Spanish would be beneficial but not essential

Salary: £30.000 – £35.000 pa depending on experience
