As a Delivery Driver you will be part of the Operations Department and your role will include the routine tasks and objectives outlined below. This is a hybrid role with a mix of Warehouse and Driving duties depending on order volumes fluctuating. You will be part of a strong warehouse team and report directly to the Warehouse & Transport Manager.

Duties:

* Making National Deliveries to Care Homes, Small Hospitals etc

* Excellent Customer Service Ensuring the Customer is aware of any Issues Surrounding their Delivery/Order. (E.G. Explaining Backorders)

* Helping Customers Un-pack and move their Delivered Goods to Necessary Locations

* Ensuring the Vehicle is Kept Continuously Clean and Tidy, Inside and Out

* Obtaining, Organising and Updating Systems with Signed Paperwork from Customers to Confirm Deliveries

* Loading Vehicle with New Deliveries

* Making sure all work is achieved to the highest of standards

* Picking and packing and dispatching of goods

* Booking in stock

* Using the warehouse management system

Candidates will have a good eye for detail, great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Rate: £9.00 to start

Hours flexible: start between 0530 / 0730 – finish time 1430 / 1630
