Our clients based in Aylesbury are looking to recruit an additional team member to join them on a temp – perm basis with the idea of getting this candidate in place as soon as possible.

The role as a Despatch Operative is imperative for the operation as this role effectively controls the speed of product despatch for each day, this role will involve the following:

* Utilise the dispatch system – Orderwise to check on orders for that day

* Picking team will have picked the required order – you will need to check this

* Scan the 'Tote'

* Select the appropriate shipping cartons

* Weigh and inspect the order once again

* Match up the order to the despatch system

* Despatch via the system, create the label

* Ship the goods – process dependant on courier

There will be an element of forward thinking and issue resolution with anomalies cropping up with things like addresses, shipping and the system so the successful candidate needs to be able to work through these issues systematically to resolve.

This role would suit somebody that has warehouse, despatch experience and wants a role in a company that offers progression in a young and expanding company. this candidate should be a good communicator, be comfortable using a computer and have a willingness to learn.

The rate of pay will be between £9.00 – £10.00 per hour depending on experience.
