We operate in conjunction with Buckinghamshire Council, providing a 24/7 housing service, which helps homeless individuals and families achieve a better quality of life.
We believe that if we provide our customers with a great place to call home and offer them the right relationship with someone who believes in their potential, almost anything is possible. The Night Concierge will support this vision by ensuring safe and secure accommodation for customers and their guests.
You will be based at Griffin Place, Aylesbury, HP19. The role is permanent, part time (30 hours per week) and will cover Monday – Wednesday 22:00 – 09:00. An enhanced DBS check is required.
Your main duties will include:
Monitoring the safety and security of the building
Identifying and highlighting risks, and escalating to the right points of contact
Responding quickly and efficiently to any potential incidents
Successfully negotiating with customers to find solutions
Recording all incidents accurately and ensuring records are kept up to date
Carrying out any admin tasks, as required.We want somebody who:
Has a positive can-do attitude to deliver outstanding customer service
Demonstrates consistent integrity, trust and fairness whilst embracing equality and diversity
Confident overseeing site safety and safe working practices, complying with health and safety requirements
Ability to build relationships with customers whilst maintaining professional boundaries
Experience of managing anti-social behaviour, (desirable but not essential).Griffin Place is a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, so previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
