Do you have Traffic Marshall (with PTS) experience and interested in working on the largest critical infrastructure project in Europe?
Our client has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across a 225km section of the new high speed rail link between Euston and Birmingham, and we are proud to supply Traffic Marshalls with PTS, among many other skilled trades and labour across multiple sites and projects.
Presently, the scope of works include viaducts, shafts, tunnelling, road diversions, overbridges and over 100 million cubic metres of excavation, over the course of the next 4+ years. We have a lot of work ahead of us… are you the supply Traffic Marshall with PTS we are looking for?
Job role:
* Directing the movement of vehicles on a work site
* Recommending and laying out safe, on-site traffic systems
* Providing clear, correct and safe directions to plant operators
* Communicating with drivers and plant operators verbally and by radio and/or industry standard hand signals
* Understanding risks (e.g. blind spots) and how to manage these effectively
* Managing traffic to avoid excessive queuing
* Minimising possible risks to personnel and equipment
* Working on a building site.
Successful applicants will need:
* Traffic Marshall qualification
* Network Rail Sentinel Track Safety Card
* Driving licence and own vehicle due to the location and role
Pay rate: £13.53 per hour. After 8 hours per day, the rate goes up to £20.30
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts
Contract type: PAYE only
Location: Aylesbury
Duration: This section of the HS2 contract is currently until 2026
