Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Remote

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000

Hours: Monday to Friday

Quantity Surveyor Overview

A UK leading construction company are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for the commercial and contract management of several designated Construction / Engineering sites. This position will start of as a remote position for a few months then move into a mixture of remote and working on site.

The Quantity Surveyor will be joining one of the leading businesses in its construction field, who have been established for over 30 years providing construction services to the Rail, Construction, Power station industry sectors. This outstanding construction business are looking to grow rapidly, due to the success of winning multiple complex projects recently. Quantity Surveyor key skills / qualifications:

* Industry qualification

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working in a groundworks or Rail or Construction industry

* Previous experience that includes writing reports and presenting.

* Understanding engineering principles

* Time management and planning

* Drivers Licence

Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:

* Lead the Commercial aspects of the projects so that they are completed on time, within budget and to the precise standards.

* Payment applications and internal cash flow reporting;

* Operation of sub-contracts and supplier agreements;

* On-going cost reporting for allocation project/s;

* Site visits, assessments and projections for future work;

* Regulation liaison with the Client to ensure excellent relationships are built and maintained, and issues identified and resolved where possible, primarily with the Commercial team.
