Mane are currently recruiting for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor to be based in Aylesbury.

The contract is working for a Forestry contractor who are winning a large amount of work on various sections of HS2. Their work schedule on HS2 is due to run for a number of years so this has the opportunity to be a long term position.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to –

*Ensure site safety and health plan is prepared and implemented.
*Monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.
*Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications.
*Encourage strong HSE culture in the workplace in addition to the implementation of best practice
*Ensure employees have been appropriately trained according to the Health and Safety training plan to ensure compliance.

To apply for this position as a Junior Health and Safety Advisor you must meet the below criteria:

*NEBOSH qualified.
*CSCS or CPCS
*Experience of producing risk assessments and delivering audits.
*You have previous experience of working in Health and Safety within construction environment.
*Knowledge of COSHH
*Ability to use Microsoft Office

The contract is starting ASAP and working hours are Monday to Friday – 07:00-16:00.
