About The Role
EKFB are looking for a GIS Analyst who will be responsible for undertaking GIS data preparation, data management, mapping, BIM data conversations, analysis, and visualisation to support our internal team, supply chain and client.
You will be responsible for analysing spatial data using mapping software and geoprocessing tools, as well as creating spatial data for use in business processes and applications. Creating high-quality cartographic map outputs is a key part of this role.
You will also need to provide data management support and data development as required and assist in the development and integration of data sets and web services. Providing GIS support to the wider construction team and supply chain, along with advising on GIS-related issues to the core GIS team are both key responsibilities.
You will need to authorise GIS contractual requirements to the client to a high standard and on time and perform quality control checks of incoming data from the supply chain.
About The Candidate
Essential Experience:
Experience in a similar position and/or a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Proven knowledge in ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ERSI ArcGIS Online/Portal for ArcGIS and ERSI Mobile application
Experience using Microsoft Access and Excel
Knowledge of Metadata standards and UK GIS datasets
Experience in successful data management
Excellent presentation and communication skillsDesirable Experience:
Experience in the infrastructure or environment disciplines
Experience of programming in either: Python, SQL or VBA
Exposure to ESRI Model Builder or FME
Use of ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, Projectwise, BIMXtra, LiDAR and OS Mastermap
