You have an excellent opportunity to work on one of the largest infrastructure schemes in history, HS2, as an Ecologist or Ecological Clerk of Works.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• A degree in Ecology or a relevant discipline
• CIEEM membership is advantageous
• Excellent report writing capabilities
• Protected Species Licence(s) – particularly Barn Owls and Bat Licenses (Level 2)
• Experience in Principal Ecology (i.e. PWMS writing and appraisal capability)
• Site ECoW experience

Whilst working as a Senior Ecologist, you will be involved in;

• Planning, co-ordinating and managing ecology surveys,
• Supporting the Senior Ecologist and in time leading a small team,
• Ecological Impact Assessment (EIA)
• Preliminary Ecological Appraisals,
• Liaising with clients, project managers and stakeholders,
• A variety of protected species surveys, Client liaison
• Licensed EcoWs (GCN, Bat, Badger, Dormice etc)
