About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB Are looking to recruit a Document Controller.
We would like you to support the implementation of Information Control processes and standards in line with the company strategy. You must also assist in the development and maintenance of Information Control documentation and systems to ensure alignment with business policy and industry standards.
We would like you to ensure that all communications between EKFB and the Client, Supply Chain and Stakeholders are accurately recorded and shared with the wider Project team.
Also, it is key that you ensure that all access and permissions granted within the EDMS are relevant and appropriate. You will provide training and technical support to staff and the supply chain to raise awareness and ensure the successful implementation of processes and procedures relating to Information Control systems.
An important part of the role is to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct use of the EDMS and act as the first point of contact in respect of Information Control.
You must escalate any issues in respect of overdue/outstanding documentation with relevant project stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with the Client EDMS requirements within project information delivery timescales. We would expect you to maintain responsibility for own workload, continually developing skills and knowledge.
As always, support cultural change within the business unit/project by promoting a digital approach to Information Management.
