Job: Assistant Site Manager

Location: Aylesbury

Rate: up to £200 per day

Hours: 9 hrs

Start Date: ASAP

My client is a Tier-1 Main Contractor who are a specialist civil engineering, construction and facilities management company and are known for their innovation, creativity and technology with which they tackle the most complex of projects.

Job Value Approx. £15m / Construction is underway and is expected to complete to August 2022

Scope:

Site will be occupied throughout & each block decanted in sequence for works to be completed.

Scope of works includes: 6No. House Blocks, a Hospital Block and approximately 15nr ancillary buildings.

1500m of new site wide underground duct network including 72nr new Inspection Chambers

Replace all Fire Alarms, replace all General Alarm, General & Emergency Lighting Replacements, Passive Fire Protection, Wall upgrades, fire stopping, new smoke shafts etc, approx. 320 fire door replacements, Night Sanitation / Cell Call Replacement and Mechanical Smoke Extract Ventilation

Duties:

Reporting to Site Manager or other Senior Management as required.

Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management are met.

Monitoring labour, materials, and budgets.

Supervising construction work and relaying instructions from senior managers.

Reporting any concerns that might negatively impact projected cost and time estimates.

Procuring materials, labour, and equipment, as well as third-party subcontractors and suppliers.

Preparing work schedules and co-ordinating labour.

Liaising with other construction project stakeholders as required.

Ensuring safety is followed.

CSCS card
DBS Clearance
Previous experience working for a Main Contractor
