RandstadCPE are currently looking for an Assistant HERDS Manager to work for a Major HS2 Contractor in the Aylesbury area.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of project plans, scoping documents and desk studies as required and liaise with HS2 and stakeholders
Review fieldwork deliverables from subcontractors
Manage schedule data and liaise with land access and logistics teams
Maintain issue register
Maintain stakeholder engagement register
Maintain progress trackers and report progress
Liaise with the site supervisor and site engineer to support the subcontractors progress
Assist with preparation of presentations and works updates to local community groups in liaison with HERDS Sector lead
Develop personal career plan goals and agree CPD training and development actions with Lead Archaeologist
Develop understanding and experience in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times.
Develop understanding of company vision and values.
Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorised disclosure, modification or destruction. Never knowingly put company information or information systems at risk.Main challenges of the job:

Reports to HERDS Sector lead
Supported by AWH Technical Delivery Manager
Works closely with the Site Supervisor, Land Access Coordinator, H&S and Environmental Advisors, Community Relations Officers and other members of the AWH Package team
Collaborates with subcontractor's and supplier's representatives.
Develops effective working relationships with key stakeholders and community representatives.Role Requirements:
Graduate in archaeology or related field
Some experience of historic environment works on site and in design
Good MS office skills and software use experience
Some experience of GIS useful
Effective research skills
