General Operatives x2 (Voids) 

Aylesbury Vale

Salary £32,381 Per Annum

Full time – 38 hours per week 

Permanent Contract

The Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust is a Buckinghamshire based housing association providing homes and services to local communities throughout the Vale of Aylesbury, we have around 7,200 homes. We pride ourselves on working closely with residents and surrounding communities to make sure we deliver high quality housing, homes and services. 

We are currently looking for a 2x General Trades Operative to join our Voids Team with strengths in  plumbing and carpentry, who will be required to undertake maintenance tasks to properties owned or managed by the Trust.

The successfully appointed General Trades Operative must have:

Post qualification experience in repair and maintenance works both in occupied and unoccupied properties

General all round trade skills are essential with a demonstrable strength toward plumbing and/or carpentry would be beneficial

Ability to work as part of a team, work to deadlines, prioritise workloads and demonstrate a good awareness of health and safety

Effective communication skills at all levels and good level of IT skills
A current and full driving licence
