Executive PA to the Executive Director of Development
Aylesbury
Salary £20,211 Per Annum (£33,236 FTE)
Part time – 22.5 hours per week
Permanent contract
The Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust is a Buckinghamshire based housing association providing homes and services to local communities, we have over 7,500 homes. We pride ourselves on working closely with residents and surrounding communities to make sure we deliver high quality homes and services. We are looking for a friendly and professional PA to the Executive Director of Development to help us achieve our vision and goals.
The Role:
You will provide effective support to the Executive Director of Development whilst undertaking specific project tasks as required. You will be expected to use your own initiative to make decisions relevant to these duties. The ability to take ownership of issues and to strive for excellence is essential.
The role requires the PA to have confident communication with both external and internal parties, including the Chief Executive, other Directors and Assistant Directors and Senior Management as well as providing assistance to Board Members, Committees and the Executive Management Team.
A good level of IT skills is essential, in particular report preparation, spreadsheet management and minute taking.
The successful applicant would be expected to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, however the start and finish time could be flexible. There will be some occasional evening working required to service Committees and Boards.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience within a Board level environment and competence in the preparation of Executive / Board level reports would be advantageous
Experience in the provision and dissemination of confidential and sensitive information
Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels
Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn other applications as required
Confident in taking minutes of meetings
