Apprentice Plumber

Aylesbury

Salary: Starting at £13, 593 per annum + benefits with a progression, based on satisfactory performance and achievement of qualifications.

Full time – 37 hours per week

Fixed term contract for 4 years.

The Role:

Through work experience, studying, training and development (both practical and vocational), complete a course of study and obtain work-related professional qualification.
City & Guilds Part III / level 2 in plumbing Installation.
You will learn to carry out a range of plumbing repairs and installations in occupied and empty properties which includes installation and/or repair of pipework and sanitary ware. Plumbing work including the fitting of and/or repair to WC's, showers, baths, kitchen sinks, taps, etc.
You will attend college and complete coursework on time and to a high standard and also produce, maintain and be responsible for work details to document experience.Required Skills and Experience:

Studying for or have already successfully completed a minimum of 5 GCSEs with grades C and above in Maths and English.
Self-motivated with a strong desire for long term study.
Some knowledge or exposure to chosen field.
Use of own initiative where appropriate.
Ability to communicate in written and oral form.
Able to work harmoniously with others, in a positive team atmosphere and build effective working relationships.
Good timekeeper.
Hold a learners Driving Licence and learning to drive. It is a requirement to hold a full and valid driving licence by the completion date of your training.
