MET Technician

Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday

PAYE Rate: Up-to £40,000 depending on qualifications & experience

Hours: 08:00 – 17:00

Igloo has some exciting opportunities for MET Technicians to work on a permanent contract in the Aylesbury area. Successful candidates will be working for a business that currently has 12 UK sites but are growing through purchasing more sites.
We are looking for a MET technician to join an already established company that employs over 220 people to help reach their goal of becoming the best in the industry.

The Role:

As a MET Technician you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below:

* Stripping and refitting parts and panels to vehicles that are going through the bodyshop.

* Carrying out inspections and fault-finding on vehicles.

* Carrying out mechanical and bodywork jobs on vehicles.

* Complete all work to BSI PAS 10125 standards.

What kind of person we are looking for?:

* You must be able to plan your workload effectively to ensure you meet customer deadlines.

* You will need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of working within a busy automotive bodyshop.

* You must always work efficiently but to a high standard to meet customer expectations.

* The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of MET Technician experience.

* Ideally you will hold a valid ATA or IMI Accreditation but this is not essential.
