Omni are supporting a leading Highways provider to recruit an administration assistant to support their Street Lighting team in the delivery of street lighting maintenance and improvement across the county of Buckinghamshire.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE;
* Minimum of 3 GCSE’s required including English and Maths.
* Experience/qualifications demonstrating ability in numeracy and literacy.
* Experience of working as part of a Team with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of dealing with Members and the public including emails, letters and phone.
* Ability to prioritise own work to support business priorities. Manages own performance and seeks feedback to improve where identified.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (including report writing).
* May be required to travel to other office locations within Buckinghamshire.
YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
* Providing administrative support to the identification, preparation, design, planning, programming and ordering of work and services.
* Providing timely and accurate advice and response to Councillors, Parish Councils and the general public on street lighting related matters as required.
* Contributing to the street lighting teams performance in providing speedy and courteous responses to queries and complaints in accordance with relevant targets and standards.
* Assisting with documentary management using Ringway Jacobs approved document management system.
* Providing assistance to the team in relation to the daily functions of the group.
* Support the implementation of budgetary control and financial management.
