Sales Ledger Clerk
Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire our client seeks a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team on a 6-month initial fixed term contract, with the possibility to go permanent.
This job would suit someone with a basic accounting qualification, and at least 2 years proven Sales Ledger experience.
The company is a multi-site service provider with a well-established client base that has weathered the past 12 months in positive fashion and is looking to the future through the recruitment of an ambitious and proactive Sales Ledger Clerk.
The successful individual will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally. For this role you must be computer literate with good Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, is also essential.
Job responsibilities:
* To prepare and maintain detailed client and income records needed to produce the monthly financial reports.
* To contact clients regarding any outstanding monies due.
* Maintain computer and manual filing systems in compliance with the GDPR.
* Prepare invoices and ensure they are submitted on a timely basis.
* Direct Debit preparation and allocation.
* Review the aged debtor reports and follow up late payments.
* Record cash payments and receipts.
* Maintain receipts cashbook.
* Assist in the month end reporting.
* Prepare monthly and adhoc reports.
