Our client, a highly regarded organisation with a track record for providing exceptional service, is looking to source a proactive and enthusiastic Project Finance Analyst/Project Accountant on an interim basis. The contract will be for an initial 6 months, but very likely to be extended further, should you be a good fit for the business and add value in that time. Candidates must also be available immediately.

The main purpose of the job is to ensure cost and cash flow requirements on all capex and projects are monitored and reported accurately. You'll also ensure finance systems are supported and provide assistance to the Senior Project Analyst and FC on ad-hoc tasks.

Main duties include:
* Manage and administer capex processes
* Report spend on capex with reason for variances, producing summaries and detailed reports
* Liaising with project managers and attend monthly project meetings
* Liaising with management accounting team on capex spend
* Cash flow reporting
* Account for WIP
* Reconciling fixed assets
* Assisting in period end reconciliations
* Preparing bottom-up annual budget for the business collating capex submissions for review
* Quarterly capex forecast for the balance sheet and cash flow review
* Assisting with system development

Key skills & experience required:
* Solid background in management accounts/project accounting
* Strong Excel skills
* Generally systems savvy
* Good communication, can build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
* Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
* Experience of fixed asset accounting
